Day 1 | USA-Beijing
Board an international flight to Beijing and look forward to a China Adventure.
Day 2 | Arrive Beijing
Our flight lands at Beijing. We are transferred to the luxury hotel for well-deserved rest and relaxation.
Day 3 | Beijing (AB, L, DS)
Morning visit to Tiananmen Square, the vast 110 acres reportedly the largest square in the world. Then, proceed to Forbidden City, where, for over 500 years, commoners were forbidden to enter. The regal Summer Palace Qianmen Street are visited in the afternoon. Enjoy a famed Beijing local cuisine for dinner, followed by a stage show “the Legend of Kungfu”.
Day 4 | Beijing (AB, L, DP)
Today we marvel at the incredible magnitude of the Great Wall. Walk along the Wall and be inspired by the commanding view and stark beauty of the timeless frontier. Later in the afternoon We’ll view the “Bird’s Nest” National Stadium, the amazing “Water Cube” Aquatics Centre, and the National Grand Theatre. Tonight we taste one of China’s culinary treasure - the renowned Peking Duck Dinner Banquet.
Day 5 | Beijing-Xian (AB, L, DP)
Start the day with a pilgrimage to the Temple of Heaven, a structure of classic Ming dynastic elegance. Then, board a short flight to Xian. Upon arrival at Xian, we are transferred to our luxury hotel. Enjoy local Shaanxi “Hot Pot” cuisine dinner.
Day 6 | Xian (AB, L, DS)
Our excursions for the day: the amazing legions of Terra-Cotta Warriors of China’s first emperor Qin Shihuang, and the Hua Qin Hot Spring. Enjoy the Imperial Dumpling Banquet for dinner followed by the enchanting Tang Dynasty Stage Show.
Day 7 | Xian-Guilin (AB, L, DH)
We start our day with visits to the Shaanxi History Museum and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Drive by the ancient massive 40-feet City Wall. Later board a short flight for Guilin, a lush city enowned for its remarkable natural scenery said to be “unmatched in Heaven.”
Day 8 | Guilin-Yangshuo-Guilin (AB, L, DS)
A cruise down the Li River transports us back in time as we glide past mist-shrouded hills, picturesque villages, and fishermen on bamboo raffs. Arrive in Yangshou where we disembark and take a city tour with visits to the Old Banyan, the Moon Hill, and the well-known West Street. When the sun sets, enjoy the great performance “Yingxiang Liusanjie” on the natural stage setting formed by the Li River. It is the first of its kind in the world, showing the beautiful natural landscapes and the ethnic cultures in Yanghshuo. After the show, board our motorcoach back to Guilin.
Day 9 | Guilin-Shanghai (AB, L, D)
Our city tour begins with a visit to the Reed Flute Cave, and venture on to the Elephant Trunk Hill, a long-standing symbol of Guilin that once appeared on Chinese currency notes. Board a domestic flight bound for Shanghai, China’s largest city.
Day 10 | Shanghai-Hangzhou (AB, L, DP)
Travel buy motorcoach to our next destination, Hangzhou. China’s poets have praised Hangzhou, likening it to a paradise on earth. Our sightseeing tour in Hangzhou includes visits to the majestic Lin Yin Temple, Fei Lai Feng, and one of the ten most beautiful sites of West Lake. Enjoy a scenic cruise on the West Lake. A local cuisine is served for dinner.
Day 11 | Hangzhou-Suzhou-Wuxi (AB, L, DP)
Suzhou, the “Venice of the East”, is built around Grand Canal. The city’s many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the “Garden City”. Our sightseeing tour of Suzhou features the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Hanshan Temple, and pass the Grand Canal. Continue on to Wuxi. For dinner, we are served the local cuisine which includes the delicious Wuxi Ribs.
Day 12 | Wuxi-Yangzhou-Nanjing (AB, L, DP)
Our city tour of Wuxi takes us to the famous Yuantoudu Park which is built by the Lake Tai. Then, drive to Yangzhou, a 2500-yearold city. In Yangzhou, we enjoy a local specialty cuisine lunch and take a cruise on the man-made “Slim West Lake”, which dates back to Tang Dynasty, surrounded by weeping willows and beautiful pavilions. Later in the afternoon, we head to Nanjing, where we drive by the famed Yangtze River Bridge and Mingxiao Tomb. For dinner a local specialty cuisine is served.
Day 13 | Nanjing-Highspeed Train-Shanghai (AB, L, DP)
Suzhou, the “Venice of the East”, is built around Grand Canal. The city’s many excellent classical gardens have entitled Suzhou the “Garden City”. Our sightseeing tour of Suzhou features the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Hanshan Temple, and the Grand Canal. Our next destination is Hangzhou, China’s poets have praised Hangzhou, likening it to a paradise on earth. A local cuisine is served for dinner.
Day 14 | Shanghai (AB, L, DS)
Our morning tour of Shanghai takes us to Yu Garden, the bustling Nanjing Road, and the famous waterfront Bund. The afternoon is free at leisure. Tonight, after a delicious Shanghai local cuisine dinner, we are captivated by an impressive Chinese Acrobatics Show.
Day 15 | Shanghai-USA (AB)
Transfer to the airport for our homebound flight as our unforgettable China trip ends.
